Lead Frontend Developer · Bengaluru, India

I build fintech products that win enterprise clients.

Seven years across fintech and HR SaaS, currently leading frontend at Open Financial Technologies — Asia's largest SME neobanking platform. Deep in both Angular and React 19, from greenfield architecture to large-scale migration, with work that has directly closed enterprise deals.

Selected work

Enterprise fintech products are rarely public — here's what I built and what it changed.

Connected Banking Dashboard — greenfield build

Open Financial Technologies · 2026

Scaffold to production in under 5 months, on a stack the team adopted from zero.

Co-led ground-up development of an enterprise banking dashboard: 18 feature slices covering statements, transfers, beneficiaries, teams, and cashflow analytics, built as a strict-TypeScript React 19 SPA with schema-first Zod validation on every form and API boundary, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and a Recharts analytics layer wired to live banking APIs.

  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • Vite 7
  • TanStack Query 5
  • Zustand
  • React Hook Form + Zod
  • Tailwind CSS 4
  • shadcn/ui
  • Recharts

Developer Platform

Open · 2026

Enterprise clients self-serve their API integrations.

Owned end-to-end: API-key lifecycle with scoped permissions and IPv4/IPv6 allowlisting, webhooks with signing secrets, API logs, and an interactive playground that executes real sandbox requests.

  • React 19
  • REST APIs
  • Sandbox/Live envs

RBAC across two platforms

Open · 2024–26

Reduced unauthorized data-exposure incidents across enterprise environments.

Designed granular role-driven access control for the Angular product suite, then rebuilt it for the React dashboard with feature-grouped permissions, guided role flows, and permission-gated routing.

  • RBAC
  • Angular
  • React
  • AuthZ

Nx monorepo migration & Angular 19 upgrades

Open · 2024–25

~40% less code duplication; ~30% less state boilerplate.

Architected the move of a multi-product codebase into an Nx monorepo with shared libraries across 3+ projects; owned the Zwitch app's migration and drove the Angular 19 + Signals upgrade of the Open Money app.

myBillBook UI overhaul

Flobiz · 2022–23

25% better task completion; ~35% faster feature UI development.

Led the end-to-end redesign of Flobiz's flagship invoicing product and built a reusable component library standardizing UI across 5+ modules.

  • Angular
  • Design systems
  • Figma-to-code

Zero-to-launch & platform migrations

Pocketpills · 2022

Phil launched in 4 months; page loads cut ~40%.

Led frontend for Phil, a new men's health vertical, from zero to launch in 4 months — and architected the migration off a WordPress monolith to a Jamstack setup (Strapi headless CMS + Angular), cutting page load times ~40% while letting non-technical teams own content.

Experience

  1. Lead Software Developer · Open Financial Technologies

    Jan 2024 — Present

Leading frontend across the Connected Banking suite — greenfield React 19 dashboard, Nx monorepo architecture, RBAC, Angular 19 migrations — with work directly tied to winning Nippon and Keka as enterprise clients. Mentoring 3–4 developers; AI-augmented delivery workflow (Claude Code, AI-gated PR review).

  2. Software Developer, Frontend · Flobiz

    Sep 2022 — Nov 2023

Led the myBillBook UI overhaul, built the shared Angular component library, and shipped performance work (lazy loading, change-detection tuning, bundle splitting) worth ~20% faster initial loads.

  3. Frontend Developer · Pocketpills

    Feb 2022 — Sep 2022

Full platform redesign, launched the Phil vertical from scratch, and moved the marketing stack from WordPress to Jamstack.

  4. Frontend Developer · PeopleHum

    Dec 2019 — Feb 2022

Built payroll, attendance, and performance modules on a large HR SaaS platform; developed on a Node.js BFF aggregating 10+ microservices; cut the frontend bug backlog 30% in my first quarter.

  5. Software Engineer Intern · Coviam Technologies

    Jun 2019 — Nov 2019

Full-stack training across Vue.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Spring Boot; converted to full-time in 6 months.

How I work

Business outcomes first

Frontend work should move the company, not just the codebase. Two enterprise client wins at Open came directly from demos and PoCs I built.

Correctness by construction

Strict TypeScript, schema-first Zod validation at every boundary, and accessibility as a requirement — not a retrofit.

AI as a force multiplier

I pair with agentic tools daily and gate every PR through AI review — faster delivery with more scrutiny, not less.
